Scan at Rated Speed
Get all the features of Kofax VRS Elite while running your scanner at rated speed, regardless of scan mode (black-and-white, grayscale or color) or interface (Kofax, ISIS or TWAIN).
Centralized Licensing
Manage and distribute your Kofax VRS Elite licenses to your scan stations using the licensing utility, making administration of your scanning environment easier.
Kofax VRS Elite also allows you to centrally manage and automatically apply Kofax VRS Elite profiles to each scan station, ensuring consistency through the entire scan operation.

Reduced Document Preparation with Content-based Rotation
Kofax VRS will automatically analyze the content of each scanned document and correct the orientation of the image on the fly.
Intelligent Blank Page Detection
Kofax VRS is able to determine if the back side of a page contains real information, or if it is simply bleed through from the front of the page. If Kofax VRS determines that the back side is bleed through, then it deletes the image. If Kofax VRS detects real content, the image is saved.
Improved Recognition
Since Kofax VRS automatically straightens and cleans each scanned image, the accuracy of your optical character recognition and handwriting recognition software increases dramatically.
Automatic Cropping and Deskew
Kofax VRS offers automatic cropping and deskew for all scanners including white background scanners. In the past, this required a black background scanner or special black background kit. Now, Kofax VRS includes automatic background cropping and deskew available on all Kofax VRS certified scanners.
