RightView

Tree Display
RightView provides a Web-based interface to ApplicationXtender. RightView allows the user to perform a query of ApplicationXtender, and displays the query results in a unique tree structure, a format not available in ApplicationXtender. Once the user has located the desired document, clicking a link displayed in RightView will launch a Web Access window to display the document.

Configurability
RightView is completely configurable by the user, allowing the administrator to define the index fields that can be searched, as well as the fields that are used to define each level of the tree. Any index field in the application can be used, along with the document ID. RightView is capable of supporting any number of ApplicationXtender applications on the same data source, and any number of tree configurations per application, allowing RightView to provide searched the comply with many different needs.

License Usage
RightView is an ApplicationXtender Web Services Application; however, it runs in an integrated mode with Web Access so that launching a Web Access window to view a document does not use a second license. Each user that logs into RightView uses a single Web Access license.

Security
Security across multiple HTTP sessions is managed using ASP.NET Forms Authentication. No usernames or passwords are stored in any persistent format. All users that log onto RightView application is done by a secure call to ApplicationXtender.

System Requirements
The RightView Web application must run on Windows Server 2003 under IIS version 6.0. RightView requires that the Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 be installed. End users will access RightView through Microsoft Internet Explorer.
